Moving to Phoenix from out of state for treatment
Heard from two different people that Phoenix has genuinely better rehab infrastructure than most mid-sized cities. Currently in a state where options are almost nonexistent so seriously considering a temporary relocation just for proper treatment access. Would love input from anyone who came to Phoenix specifically for recovery and whether it was worth it.

A guy from my brother’s support group actually moved to Phoenix from rural Nevada because his hometown had basically zero real treatment beyond short detox. He said the difference was huge — more structured programs, better mental health support, and actual step-down care instead of being sent home clueless.
